1. What is Shiksha ?
Shiksha is an organization found to promote Learning from all quarters of learning to complete triple responsibilities Responsibility towards Family (pitru runam), society & environment (deva runam) and preservation and transmission of knowledge (acharya runam).
2. What Shiksha want to do ?
The purpose of education, apart from other things, is to keep and preserve this multi layer nature of the nation or republic. Education’s purpose has to be geared to achieve this objective apart from other developmental curriculum issues. This makes the individual seeking education a wholesome Total Quality Person or citizen. Shiksha is needed at present as over all education/learning to make a complete person citizen is fast eroding in country and to substitute that over all learning Shiksha is formed.
3. Is Shiksha an NGO ?
Yes we are a registered trust and foundation.
4. Does Shiksha has political affiliations ?
No we do not have any political affiliations. Nor we intend to have any political affiliations. Shiksha believes in the empowerment of younger generation with knowledge and training of teachers who can empower younger generations in respective fields of study.
5. What if I get a job in MNC or any other organization should I still work with Shiksha ?
Shiksha’s man purpose is to train youngsters to face the muti dimensional challenges they face in modern world. In that sense we will be glad if our associates get goop opportunities either in studies or openings in MNC both Indian or foreign. While working in their respective fields associates can contribute by spreading awareness in their respective working communities, or areas they live in. Whenever they have time in weekends or so they can volunteer in spreading education/learning message along with Shiksha.
6. What if I move out of country or to a different part of the country ?
As Shiksha is a continuous life skill learning and advanced academic learning process with an aspiration to share and teach, where ever you are you can affiliate with Shiksha by opening a Shiksha chapter where ever you reside.
7. What If I want to do something differently than Shiksha ?
Shiksha will be glad and will encourage diverse functions and areas of activity.
8. Can Shiksha provide employment for me if I want to dedicate my time full time to pursue organization goals ?
Shiksha has limited employment opportunities in the fields of social service, education and project co-ordination. Please contact us for details of such opening in your areas.
9. How can I contribute to Shiksha ?
Anyone can contribute in Time, Resources or kind. Volunteering to learn more about Shiksha and affiliate associations and if interested joining these associations and then in turn sharing the awareness knowledge in your own communities, areas you live.
If you want to provide assistance in organizing events by providing local help either in transportation, logistics or accommodation we heartily welcome such move.
If you want to sponsor an event under Shiksha or offer prizes or cash rewards on Shiksha you are most welcome.

10. Is Shiksha a tax exempt foundation ?
Right now it is not. But we are trying to get the Tax Exempt status ASAP.
11. WHY should I join SHIKSHA / what is the advantage of being a member ?
No individual can be in effective social service without being in a group. SHIKSHA is a youth movement with lot of professional students as members. Learning and Teaching is the SLOGAN. STUDENTS’ gets opportunity to be LEADER, better COMMUNICATOR, get SOCIAL activity opportunity, Can be with EXPERTS and HIGH PROFILE as colleagues, Can SERVE the needy – especially in teaching the poor and down trodden.
12. Privileges of SHIKSHS Members
Subsequent Sessions gets a rebate / privileged preference for admission. They shall be considered for “LOYALITY and SOCIAL WORK AWARD” based on merit of activity. Gets preference for the Admission for the Courses in plan at SHIKSHA. Plans to have Exchange Programs across the country, and can participate in that. Get networked across cities.
